I made two different scone recipes, and this was my least favorite. Orange sugar is a nice touch, but the overall taste and texture is lacking. They were dry without being pleasantly dry. Probably needs more salt and sugar in the dough.

The recipe calls for way too many berries for the dough and does not roll out into the traditional scone shape either. The finished taste is the only thing that saves this recipe

These scones were very yummy and easy, but the dough was very sticky. The weather at the time could have affected it, but i suggest a lot of extra flour when rolling the dough. Also, I would add more blueberries, but they were simply great as they were. Next time I plan to use dried cranberries.
