This chili was easy, tasty and just the right amount of spicy. My boyfriend and I loved it and it wasn't runny at all and the beans were nice and tender. I only made one modification....I left out the onions and used just over a teaspoon of onion powder instead. Try this recipe, you'll love it!

i'm not sure why other posters have been saying that their batches turned out runny...mine was far from it. yes... tons of beans... i may eliminate a couple, but mine was full of flavor. maybe it depends on the type of chili mix used? i used one specific to slow cooking. i also only used 1 can of tomato w/green chilis. mine was not runny in the least!

I have made quite a few different chili recipes since I married my husband because we lived in Cincinnati and we both hated the Cincinnati chili. I just made this wonderful recipe recently and we both agree that this is the best chili we have EVER tasted. It's the best one I have ever made that's for sure and the others that I have made are really good. Thank you Sandra Lee!!! I'll be serving this at my brother's Daddy Shower as well and I know EVERYONE is gonna love it!

This chili was excellent and SO easy to make. I added one can of tomato paste to thicken it. I also used pinto beans in chili sauce to add some extra spices. I took this to a dinner party on a cold evening and everyone loved it! I'll make this again soon.

VERY easy recipe.. i noticed it was a little runny, so instead of 1 can of tomato sauce, i added an extra 1/2 can and added 1 can of kernal corn.. def added that extra texture and taste! very good, esp with her yummy cornbread! very tasty and cozy on a cold day

This chili is absolutely wonderful. Easy to make and delicious to eat! Now that I've made it, I can't imagine how it could come out as described in some of the reviews by those people who did not like it. I served it over Fritos and topped it with grated cheddar cheese and diced raw onion. My husband ate two huge bowls full and my brother-in-law asked me to make him a copy of the recipe. It's definitely a keeper!
