Ingredients

1 1/2 -ounce Amaretto
3/4-ounce white Creme de Menthe
Whole almonds, for garnish

Directions

Fill a cocktail shaker half full of ice cubes. Pour all ingredients into shaker and shake well. Strain drink into a martini glass and garnish with whole almonds.

Cook's Tip: Place a folded paper towel on a dessert plate and add 2 tablespoons of Amaretto. On another dessert plate, put 1 tablespoon crushed almonds. Rim the top of the martini glass with the Amaretto and crushed almonds, then pour the drink into the glass and serve.

I haven't tried this one yet. I watched 3 episodes today & last night. One of them had Vanilla Vodka & the drink itself was clear with like a cherry in the bottom or something. I don't know if it was this recipe or not. I just wonder with those that said it was bad & was an awful taste combination if maybe this is the one that used Vanilla Vodka.
