Chocolate was very hard to work with. Wings do not stay on.

Sandra did'nt mention what size cone to use so I used the small ones and there is no way you can put 2 pretzels on for the wings. After dipping in choc. and letting them cool I cut 1 ear off of each pretzel at an angle and glued them on w/royal icing on the sides (like where the arms would be held them there a minute then cooled in fridge to set the icing even harder. after that, I piped icing around the wings to give it a finishing touch and it turned out even cuter. As far as the marzapan heads I made a hole in the heads prior to sticking on cones otherwise you will have deformed heads. I rated it a 3 star due to sandra making it look sooooo easy and it really was'nt. I still love her though. Happy Holidays!!!!!

This seemed a little complicated, so i made some little changes. They may not be as professional looking, but they are really cute and everyone loved them. In place of the royal icing decorations i spinkled them with edible glitter while the chocolate was not yet dry. I used a donut hole for the head (Just used dots of melted chocolate in colors for the eyes and mouth.

I found these angel cones very easy to make and very adorable. However, I did not like the heads made out of Marzipan. YUCK! I thought it tasted horrible. So I will make these next year but I think I will try something different for the head. Peanut Butter Ball, Sugar Cookie... It was the first time that I have ever used marzipan, and it will be the last. Does anyone really think the angels heads were tasty?

These angels were cute but a lot harder than the show. I went to help a friend with these, and it took all day. Worked better without the halo. make sure you use the larger cones, or if using the smaller size, you will only need one prezel for the wings.

This was extremely difficult. Everything has to be perfect for this to work. It is a good idea, but one needs to understand that this will take a great deal of patience and time. I wanted to make this for my grandkids, since I like to do things like make gingerbread houses and such. But, I think a gingerbread house might be just as easy.

The angels were adorable and fun to make - not to mention delicious! My one suggestion would be to use only one pretzel for the wings - it makes it much easier to stick to the cone. I thoroughly enjoy Sandra Lee's shows -she has wonderful ideas for setting up a beautiful table and most of her recipes are great! Keep up the good work!

I just would like to say that this recipe was adorable and I love to watch your show because it is fun and easy and the food actually tastes good not like other food network stars' food does. So keep on cookin' those good foods that you do and keep making them delicious.
