Ingredients

  • 1 part brandy
  • 2 parts apple cider, chilled
  • 2 parts Champagne
  • 1 apple, sliced into thin slices, for garnish

Directions

In a champagne flute, combine the brandy and cider and stir. Top with Champagne. Garnish with a couple of slices of apple.

    I flowed the recipe, but instead of just cider I used sparkling cider from trader joes, and some good champagne, and brandy . I garnished with this strips of green and red apples it look beautiful and everybody asked for 2nds.

    I followed this recipe to the letter. I used fresh pressed apple cider, I was surprised the cider didn't show through a bit more but I can easily adjust the parts to my taste & make it a great Thanksgiving or Autumn cocktail. Next time I might try Prosecco to see if that makes the cider show through a bit more or maybe I'll subsitute AppleJack for the brandy. And what do you know-the more I sip it, the more I like it!
