This is a go to recipe you will want to make over and over again. A new spin on turkey burgers which in my opinion are usually dry and bland - this recipe takes care of both those negativs - and its still healthy! We even used the extra lean meat. Very tasty and flavorful, the sauce is great too. Enjoy!

I have been wanting to try these burgers since I watched the show air and finally decided to tonight. These are absoutely amazing!!! They are very simple to make without alot of ingredients but the flavor is explosive! My husband and I were very happy with this recipe and will be making these alot in the future.

I had been using another turkey burger recipe and I saw Sandra's decided to give it a try. My husband came home and said,"Turkey burgers?" But when he tasted this turkey burger, he absolutely loved it. I definitely enjoyed the flavor of this burger. Will definitely be making these again.

I first tried this recipe at a friend's home when she made it. I immediately asked for the recipe and tried it myself at home... please don't try it with anything but ground turkey.. the whole point it to eat a delicious HEALTHY burger! Also loved that it is super easy, true to Sandra Lee style. Make enough of the dijon/maple spread because it is so good, it can be used to flavor sandwiches or chicken too!

My husband and I made this a couple of nights ago. It was sooo moist and delicious (that's usually not the case with the leanest turkey you can buy! We both had them for left overs the next day too and they were still nice and moist. I can't wait to make this when I have company over. Oh, we were out of maple syrup so we used honey instead and it worked perfectly.

I made this the other night and used regualr ground turkey (not ground turkey breast they seemed too wet but kept their shape, I cooked them on the grill pan on the stove, they were juicy and did have a sausage taste. I would make these again.

The flavors of apple-bacon-maple-turkey topped with the dijon/maple mayo....Happy Mouth!!!!
Make sure you oil the grates on your grill and that the grill is hot enough. Otherwise, the burger tends to stick to the grill and that makes it fall apart when you try to flip it.
This is a moist, satisfying, flavorful piece of heaven.

Pan fried the burgers at medium-low, as opposed to medium-high suggested in the instructions. Within 3 minutes the outside of the burgers were black, probably due to the apple sauce.

Once the outside of the burgers were removed, what remained tasted quite good.

I'll try them once more on the BBQ, hopefully with better results.
