O!M!G! These are ridiculous!!! So good, I will never make the "regular" kind again. The cabbage on top is delicious.

These are delicious! A really nice change from the usual sloppy joes I've made in the past. I've tried several sloppy joe recipes from this site and they are just "hum-drum" but this is really a great recipe with lots of flavor going on. I used ground pork but I fried it up first so I could drain off any fat before adding the vegtables, but then followed the recipe and it was amazing. We also did the Hearty Skillet Rice with this and there was just so much flavor going on between the sloppy joes and the rice...........simply put......it was a great meal! I can eat the Hearty Skillet Rice all by itself, it's that good! Thanks Sandra!

This recipe was a huge hit. Not only did my picky eating hubby love it, but my 2 year old did too. I can't wait to try the round 2 recipe! You must make this!!! It's super cheap and super delish!

Pretty good recipe. Since I was not going to make the Round 2 recipe, I just scaled back the sauce.

These are so good! I don't know that I will ever make a "regular" sloppy joe again. I did not put the cole slaw in the sandwich, I made Paula's "Lemony Cole Slaw" and served it beside the sandwich. Love, love, love this recipe.

My husband hates everything but he loved this! I used ground chicken - he didn't know till I told him. I skipped the tomato paste and used lots of chopped fresh garlic and ginger (at least 2 tablespoons of each! It could be served over rice too! This is a home run Sandra.

This was a very yummy dish, and one I would make again. I didn't have pork, so I used ground beef. It worked out perfectly. Can't wait to try round 2.

Awesome! I've made these at least 10 times. They are excellent. Only change I made was to substitute the green pepper for a Cubanelle pepper. Usually have coleslaw with them. Easiest, best tasting coleslaw: Bag of coleslaw mix from Publix, and Marie's coleslaw dressing! Superb AND easy!
    Thanks Sandra!
