This cake was a wonderful idea and turned out wonderful! It was easy and took all of the guess work out of being creative. Lol. Reading some of the previous comments, I have realized that some people just shouldn't work with fondant. Fondant will taste stale if you don't flavor it. Always flavor your fondant. Also...always ice your cake with a nice flavored icing as well.

I was reading the comments left by some of these people and I just had to say obviously these people didn't take to much time to reseach other tips before making their cakes. In order to make the fondant taste better, they make flavoring just for fondant. I thought the tips were great and anyone who wants to say otherwise is not very appreciative. I will surly take these tips along with some other I have found to help myself create a great cake for my best friends baby shower. Thank you very much for taking the time to help us at home be a little more creative.

These are difficult to put together and the fondant give it a stale taste. Better to serve a delicious cake that looks average than try these.

No one will think these are from a bakery, since no one but a professional chef can get them to look like they look inthe photo. You are better off buying something like this from a bakery since they are very sloppy looking and taste stale.

Using cardboard boxes and home-made playdough. Even easier and just as tasty!!! :

We also made the mistake of thinking they were meant to be eaten.
