The copious amount of grease trapped in the foil oozed everywhere when I took it off the grill.

A simple solution for the grease problem is to completely cook the bacon until well done. Then, a few minutes before putting them together, spray some PAM on the bacon strips and let them sit. In a few minutes they'll be soft and plaible,

The bacon steamed in the foil and became very soft. The bacon grease went all over the place, as did the cheese sauce, which slid off the corn. Since the cheese sauce was also very greasy, I had one heck of a huge grease stain on my lap after I opened it.

Thought it was terrific! Not heart healthy, but I didn't expect it to be with the mayo, bacon and cheese. On a separate note....someone fill me in on the angry tone of some of the reviews on this site. I have read several reviews from the sites of other shows, and none seem to have the same vicious, hateful, sarcastic attitude that I see here. Not caring for a recipe is one thing, but some of this stuff is uncalled for.

The mayo separated when heated. Combined with the fatty bacon, this made the ear of corn inedibly greasy.

I liked the basic idea, but had to make a couple of alterations. I added tomato and lettuce and put the whole thing on bread. Then I left out the corn. It was great!
