I made the fritters as written/no changes. The fritters are good. the problem is the glaze. the spice is too strong, needs milk instead of water and needs vanilla. I added 1/2 tsp vanilla, traded water for milk and cut the spice in half

I made these and came out with over 20 friters and all I hade was 1 banana (following what I had read previously They truly are delicious but mine came out really greasy. I still gave this recipe 5 stars because (1maybe it's just me that's not good at frying things (2 I loved being able to make my own baking mix and (3these are so easy to make. I did also cut back on the pumpkin pie spice as it truly is too much for my liking and i love pumpkin pie spice. Thank you to all who stated this in past comments and thank you Sandra for all of your ingenious recipes.

So I just made this tonight. I have to say very good. I didn't use the amounts specified in the recipe,I used less, but I was still able to get about 19 fritters. I also only used one banana!

OMG!! these are so good. I made half a recipe as stated but left out the pumpkin pie spice.
I did use water; had not checked the reviews so didn't know or think about the milk and/or vanilla. I got 9 fritters out of half a recipe so guess what we're having for breakfast tomorrow!!
And only had one ripe banana--soooo good.

OMG these are fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I couldn't stop eating them. The only thing I would do differently would be less pumpkin pie spice, it was a little much. But I took a reviewers adivce and added milk instead of water in the glaze. It does make a big difference although these are great with or without the glaze. TRY IT

I had all the ingredients available so after i watched Sandra cook these i just had to cook them too. They are so delicious, more so that i thought! The glaze is perfect for these, great combination. They are best eaten warm but also good cold.
If i am not mistaken, i think this recipe has left out the vanilla, i think it was 1 teaspoon.
Thank you Sandra for the delightful recipe, i will be cooking this a lot more.

Wonderful recipe. I always have 2-3 bananas left and this is a great alternative to banana bread. These fritters can be an on-the-go snack. Love Sandra's recipes.

My mom and I made this recipe for the first time and our whole family LOVED it! We changed up the recipe a little, instead and water and pumpkin spice we used milk, and banana extract and it was very rich and delicious! Our family enjoyed this incredible treat for breakfast. It was one of the best meals that my mom has made. And that is very rare finding a recipe that is at the top of the list for her considering that she is an amazing cook! So I give this recipe a DEFINITE five stars!
