This took a lot of time to do and was a lot of work but was worth it. Although I did not like the way the cookie tasted at all and it was slightly hard to cut thru 2 layers of cookie but overall it was good and my friends and family really liked it.
And in case you can't eat it all, meringue does freeze just fine!

This was a delicious spin on banana pudding I thought. (Even though I know it's supposed to be a take on a baked alaska It was complicated to make. And although it tasted good, I probably won't make it again.

might still be raw after only a minute under the broiler. On the show it didn't look like the sides got cooked real well. I'm concerned about food poisoning. I'm going to make this dessert, but use whipping cream instead.

This was my first time with spring form pans- it was fun! But I have to admit- I altered the recipe to accomadate my loved ones. I don't have fans on bananas so I adapted it to vanilla and chocolate. Great recipe and easy to vary!

I thought Semi Homemade was supposed to simple. This was way too time consuming and the results are less than impressive. I am an experienced home cook and I found this recipe a complete waste of time. I'd rather take the time to make a real baked alaska and get perfect results.
