Haven't tried it yet but am taking Micheal Simon's advice on using Sandra's good technique and adapting it to my own ingredients. Looks like something I can do with my daughter. Will try it today and let you know. Thanks Sandy! I feel validated!!!

It was simple to find recipes before they made the new format. It was probably too simple--now everyone has a cookbook out that they want you to buy.

These empanadas are great - with beef or with pork!

Click on "Retro East/Kitchen Classied" - all the receipes are there for the Sunday, 12-27-09. The Trifle and Salisbury Steak and all the rest. Gave this receipe 5 stars because all her receipes are usually very good. Looking forward to making the steak and the trifle.

I have been looking for easy recipes for trifles that use inexpensive available items and wanted the German Chocolate Trifle recipe but tryed online for hours yesterday trying to access it to no avail!
HOPE you can get these recipes up and going soon! Have hungry hunters to feed! Rated recipes a 5 but the access to recipes is awful!

Thank goodness - I thought it was me! I have been searching for the recipes from her show on Sunday - wanted the salisbury steak and dumpling recipes. This is the first time I have been unable to find a recipe on this site - but it seems from other posts that this happens often. I often go to allrecipes.com - they have great reviews and suggestions. I also get frustrated as this website is very slow and frustrating when you're trying to search for a recipe. Hopefully they'll read all our posts and do something about it!

I've been searching for the recipes from Retro Easy/ Kitchen Classics from EVERY angle. I really want these recipes! I don't know who to email to let know. If anyone has an address, please send this way. I love this show.
