Very good recipe. Prep time was like 10 minutes, and cooking time was about the same. The taste is very good, sweet, but not too sweet, and no obnoxious fish taste.

The brwon sugar made it far too sweet for us to enjoy. Also the beer made it bitter and left an aftertaste in the fish.

Usually I am a big Sandra fan but I had to admit this was bad.

I thought about making this and I was glad that I did. It was really good. You have to try it.

I love this recipe. Tried it out on my Canadian friends who are very particular about their salmon... they loved it! And I find it very easy and quick to grill.

I'd rate this well below average. It was too sweet and a bit bitter at the same time and together they overpowered the natural delicious flavor of salmon. Her other recipe for teriyaki salmon is excellent, try it instead.

I truly don't understand why this recipe is average. This is actually my family's favorite fish recipe - EVER (and I'm not really a salmon lover - I like white fish i.e., sea bass, cod etc. I usually add a bit more brown sugar, but my little boy of seven even asks for it - the combination of ingrediants really takes away some of the fish taste - and it is even better when cooked on a charcoal grill w/ wood chips for a smokey flavor. I REALLY DID NOT LIKE THIS FOOD. IT SOUNDED AND LOOKED SO GOOD, I DECIDED TO TRY IT. NEGATIVE REVIEWS FROM EVERYONE. NO MORE SEMI-HOMEMADE. OUT OF SIX RECIPE'S I TRIED, TWO WERE JUST OKAY.

the beer made the dish bitter and the method of cooking left the fish unappetizing looking. We won't do this again.

This was a pretty terrible way to cook salmon. You will definitely want to skip the sugar. That really makes the fish taste funky.
