My daughter and I have made several times and it is always a winner. She found the recipe first. Am doing it again tomorrow morning for my Mah Jong group. It goes together so quickly. Love it.

I carefully read all the review and made a couple of changes bases upon them. First I used a little bit larger casserole pan so the dough would be more spread out. Next I added 1/4 cup flour to the berries and tossed lightly before adding the pie filling. I also added a bit of fresh
lemon juice to eliminate the "canned" taste. I put it on a foil lined tray and popped it in the oven. The cookie topping started burning within 15 minutes so I cover it with foil for the next 30 minutes. I removed the foil and let it bake for 10 more minutes. It turned out perfectly!

This recipe is so easy and yet may be the best berry cobbler I have ever had! I have made this more many work and family functions and EVERYONE asks for the recipe. :

My guests loved this dessert! There was none left. It's easy and delicious! The photo is deceiving because it looks like she used a round dish and the recipe calls for 8 x 8 x 2. Important tip: Put on a foil lined cookie sheet so it doesn't bubble over onto you oven floor. Don't skip the foil - clean up will be easy.

My family absolutely loves this. It's ridiculously simple. It's become our traditional New Year's Eve treat! This will be our 4th year making it. I use cherry pie filling instead of apple, just because it's what we prefer.

The filling was very thin/watery. I'm surprised nobody else seemed to have that problem.

I have to admit, I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to food and usually make everything from scratch and don't usually give Sandra Lee a second glance, but when a friend made this for a get together I asked for the recipe and was *shocked*. It was delicious. Omitted the sugar and used Snickerdoodle cookie topping (sugar cookie rolled in cinnamon sugar. I still can't get over how good this was considering the amount of work put in!

I made this several times for different parties and it's always a hit. In my oven I need to cook just a bit longer, but that's an easy thing to gauge. So tasty and extremely easy to make!!
