This was SO simple, almost too simple. When I put it in the oven it looked beautiful, but I got nervous when I started cooking it and it wouldn't set. At around 15 min. left I checked it and it STILL hadn't set so I checked the recipe over making sure I did it correctly and read reviews I started to panic because others had this problem and it never came out and I was supposed to bring this to a dinner tonight! I went in when I heard the beep that it was done and it was like a miracle! It had set, it is a little brown on the top, but it should be ok. Can't wait to try it SMELLS DELICIOUS!

Sorry everyone - but I have to agree with the other reviews - this was a MESS! I used graham cracker crust just as she did & it never cooked in the middle in 1 hour's time. The edges burnt by the time the middle was even close enough to take it out of the oven! Not sure if others used a different type of pie plate or what ---- but this is a sure fire miss & there are far more bad reviews than good - don't waste your time. Just another flop for Sandra "wanna be a chef" Lee.

Turned out great after the refrig overnight. I added rhubarb and a frozen pie crust. Turned out just like mom made yum.

I prepared this and it turned out exactly as promised. I can only concludes that those who did not have success either varied from the recipe or had substandard equipment. The family loved it and I will be making it again.

I was just reading the reviews on this pie. I probably wouldn't have made it if I had read the reviews first! I used a frozen pie crust, not a graham cracker crust and it turned out perfectly. I used fresh blackberries, which were a little too sour, so I will try a different berry next time. I also used granulated Splenda.

I substituted egg beaters and used 1% milk and let it bake a little longer than on the recipe and it was wonderful. If I would have read all the bad reviews before making this I probably would have not made it.

Don't even waste your hard earned money on this pie. It was a complete FLOP, it was runny and never thickened up at all and I followed the recipe to the T. From all the other reviews I can see that no one is has been happy with this recipe. OH WELL...onto millions of other pie recipes.

I too tried this after seeing Sandras come out beautiful and thought I messed up when the middle came out soggy and the crust almost burnt. It had good flavor, and luckily I used frozen berries instead of splurging on fresh ones. After reading the other reviews and knowing there is no help, I will not be making this again!! I do not want pie with an uncooked middle!!!!!

After reading the reviews I made the custard like creme brulle. I heated the cream (I used 1 cup cream 1/2 cup milk. I added this the the eggs/sugar/etc. When I poued it into the crust, it all seemed to blend together. Anyway I just baked it for 25 mins, it's like a fruity bread pudding. I actually like it! I made mine with chopped strawberries & backberries.

Let me start this by saying I LOVE Sandra Lee and have never had a recipe fail as miserably as this THREE times. I used fresh berries and bought a lot of them so I had enough to make a couple of pies for a bbq - the first time I followed the instructions to the T and the pie was raw in the middle after the baking time - so I left it in there longer and it ended up being spongy and the crust was soggy. So, I tried it again and this time put a piece of foil under it instead of the baking tray - it took a lot longer to bake that the stated time and did not even look like Sandra's did. It tasted ok but I was still not satisfied so I tried it for a third time with no crust and in a bigger pie plate - cooking time was definitely longer and it was ok - my husband's comment was "what a waste of good berries" and with that this recipe was sent to the never again pile.
