There are so few ingredients, and when you see her make this on tv it looks so pretty and simple, that you get a false sense of confidence and forget that she probably had a professional pie stylist make one for her. When you actually try to make this recipe, not only does it not cook completely in the middle, it burns on top, making your whole house smell like bad burnt berry omlette. I wasted time and money on this recipe that I am ashamed to serve to my husband, much less if I was having others over. I am supremely disappointed in this. IT IS A WASTE and I will probably stop watching Semi-Homemade from now on.

I used fresh berries in this pie and I substituted soymilk instead of milk. I baked it for 55 min instead of 45 and it turned out grand. It is such a great looking pie and the taste is delicious!

Ok I don't know if I did this wrong but I followed all the directions. I baked it at 350 for 55 mins and the custard still came out very watery and was not cooked. I used a 9" graham cracker crust but i didn't take the foil off the bottom of it. Was i suppose to?? Is that why it didn't cook? I'm so confussed. Im actually putting it back in the oven right now at 375 maybe that will cook through?! Any advice or ways that i could fix this. The crust is cooked and a little of the custard around the end but the whole center is completely watery....help me save this!!

I tried to make it for the first time. I do not know what kind of milk to use. So I used whatever milk i have in the fridge. I shouldn't used those frozen raspberries and blueberries,
Well, it was really easy to make however I have to try it again. I want to perfect this pie! Any suggestions?

This was very easy to make and is so pretty when it comes out of the oven. I did have to bake mine a little longer for the center to cook through. After tasting it, I think I will use a regular pie crust next time instead of a graham cracker crust. Good flavor!
