I love these beans! I'm not even a big fan of black beans but they looked so good that I had to try them. They were delicious! I served them over plain white rice. I did use salted beans since that's all my store had and I didn't think it was overpowering.

I'll admit that I was quite skeptical about this recipe considering all of the canned ingredients used, but...I was amazed at the big flavors and fresh taste of this dish. I love spicy food, so I added one fresh minced jalapeno that I sauteed with the onions. An excellent yet simple dish that I will make again and again!

These are the best black beans I've ever tasted. I was surprised they were so good since they were so simple.

We made all the recipes from this episode, except the salad. Everything was SOOOO good. The spice on the chicken and the beans was just right. Kick, but not burn your face off. We will make this recipe with lots of other dishes. I think it would be nice on taco night as well! The cilantro gave the beans a nice fresh taste.

Sorry Sandra, really don't like you at all, but these are wonderful. Will make these anytime I do mexican. Oh, by the way folks, when the beans were done, I smashed them just a wee bit.....you know how you do when you make bean soup. Made them nice and thick....refried bean ish!! They were delish. Thanks tablescape lady.

This was so easy to make and it's delicious! I am guily of altering the recipe just a bit. I thought the recipe called for a thick, chunky salsa and that's what I used. I was wrong about the salsa but salsa works in this recipe too.
Thanks for all you wonderful shortcut ideas!

Easy and delicious! I used 3/4 of a can of HOT Rot'el tomatoes with chilies. Gave great heat to the dish. Definitely will make again!

The flavors of this recipe mix very well and result in a flavorful side dish. I, however, added fresh ingredients to the canned black beans. I used fresh chopped onion, tomato, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, I even added a chopped serrano pepper (I removed the seeds and veins so its not to spicy. I did not add any salt instead I added a dash of powdered Knorr Tomato bouillon flavored with Chicken, which finished it right off. My guests were lovin my beans!
