My husband is on a bland diet for medical reasons so these beans were perfect for him.

This was my first try and it turned out excellent! I was amazed at how nice and flavorful it was-- additionally I didn't have any cilantro but it tasted fine just the same.. will definately make this again and again!
I would totally recommend using a fresh onion (how lazy must we be! and good quality canned ingredients.

These beans were great - easy to make and very flavorful. My husband asked me to make rice at the last minute. Well, at the last minute, all I could make was minute rice. I'm not a big fan of minute rice but he put the beans on top of the rice and said it was awesome.

Delicious recipe. My husband loves black beans, I don't. So I made one recipe with black beans and 1 with kidney beans and they were delicious. A keeper recipe.

These beans were good, but REALLY needed some seasoning. I tasted and added salt and Frank's hot sauce. As directed, it's bland, but you can spruce it up with some seasonings.

I just finished making this recipe and loved it! I had fresh onion on hand and used that, but followed the rest of the recipe exactly. Easy to spice up or down and make your own. Plus, this works with the South Beach Diet. This one is a keeper!
