This recipe is very adaptable. I made it with beans, chicken, and cheese. Thanks!

I'm not sure what happened! The bottom of my quesadilla just turned to mush! I think the problem was that I made it before hand and put it in the oven about an hour later. I ended up making it into a great bean dip, and that was nice! I think the idea is great, but maybe I'll grill it next time to ensure crunchy tortilla on both sides. Thanks, Sandra!

Refried black beans are really good but sort of difficult to find. It's a good starter recipe but not brain science. I added sauteed peppers and onions and grated fresh pepper jack cheese. They tasted so good. I also make my own guacomole, never the store-bought stuff. You can practically add whatever you want to the recipe to make it your own.

Very easy and simple and a real good recipe if you need something quick. My family enjoyed this one. Don't listen to the hatemongers who have no life outside of blasting Sandra because she has something wonderful that they know they can't ever obtain in their miserable little lives.

I made this without telling my fast food obessed boyfriend that the quesadillas were made with ground turkey and he devoured them! I still haven't told him because I know it will seem too healthy, but I'd definetely make it again. I used refriend beans instead of black bean and it still turned out great.

I usually use regular queso cheese when I make the Las Chalupas my family loves so much. They love the Las Chalupas a lot more than this bean dish.

Very quick and easy... it is VERY easy to adjust the "heat" to individual taste buds. I just added pepper jack to it for my husband (who likes more heat and regular queso cheese for my child. Guacamole cools it off.

The filling is good. I added some cilantro and garlic and a little hot sauce to mine to give it more kick, but my kids loved these without the additions. Good recipe!
