These cupcakes were a HUGE hit with my kids, family, friends, and co-workers! Halloween is my favorite holiiday so making these was a lot of fun. A few sugestions and changes I made: 1 I'm not a fan of Devils food cake so I used a milk chocolate cake mix but I also used a vanilla mix as well (but made it per the directions on the back of the box.2 the penut-butter filling was VERY rich, it was a good combo with the chocolate- but next time I might try just using a pudding (maybe chocolate made a little thicker than the directions.3In the directions, she said to use plastic eyeballs, but at Halloween you can find all kinds of creepy candy to put in the center. I found Gummy eyeballs (they are very good and used those instead, and when I ran out of those I used gummy fingers and tounges and used the red gel to decorate them. Great cupcakes and a lot of fun for everyone! I will definatly make these every year.

The enormous amount of work it took to prepare these cupcakes would have been worth it if they had even tasted "OK" but they tasted downright awful. "Boxed Everything" is an understatement. I still have most of the cupcakes getting stale on my counter -- they were than popular.

Wonderful flavor, great presentation and a little eye-ball for the kids to play with when they're done. My sons loved them!!!! Great idea. Thanks

Instead of peanut butter I filled it with red whipped cream so that it gives a feeling of blood when eatem. And instead of plastic eyeball I used a white marshmello and decorated that with blue icing to look like an eye.
