Followed directions exactly and came out with batter instead of dough...so mucky it just oozed all over the work surface. Not sure what I did wrong. Batter smelled great at least...

Love this recipe. I have grown up on bisquick, so am happy with the taste.

Good, easy recipe. I'm not much of a baker but these turned out exactly the right consistency. Can't really get away from the "Bisquick" taste if you use this shortcut, so don't expect bakery quality, but still tasty and easy and a hit with kids and hubby. Instead of using Sandra's recipe, I used some lemon glaze I had left over from making Paula Deen's Lemon Blossoms recipe, and it worked out great.

Very quick and very tasty....Next time I will use a little more baking mix....I thought the consistency was a bit too much like cake....but overall 4 stars....they were sooooo good!

These were so easy and good. It is always nice to have the baking mix on hand (cuts a lot of time. These were more moist then the usual scone, which I prefer. Lemon glaze was ok. Next time I will make a curd. Yum!

I made this recipe this morning for a quick brunch for my boyfriend and I and the scones were quick and easy and incredibly delicious. I used baking mix instead of the the Bisquick and found I got a very sconelike consistency. I also used an entire cup of Dole frozen blueberries. The frozen ones are the best because like Sandra advises, their coloring doesn't mix with the batter. Delicious!

I am a BIG time scones lover and although this recipe was fairly easy to follow, the end result was a little too cakey to be considered a "scone." Still delicious nonetheless, but next time I try this recipe, I think I'm going to make my own baking mix, rather than the Bisquik. Also, the lemon glaze is TO DIE FOR! I would give that glaze 5 stars on its own! So so good! Thank you!!

Very easy to make. I had no problem with mixing, etc. They were a little floury, but not enough to keep anyone from eating them.
