This is without a doubt the best ham glaze recipe I have ever made. I did not have orange marmalade; so I used apricot. I believe it wouldn't have made a difference. Either one would be delicious. The timing on the ham did, however seem insufficient. My ham weighed 5lbs., and after 30 minutes, the temp was only about 115 degrees. It took 50 minutes to get the temperature to 145 degrees, at which point, I took the ham out of the oven to let it rest.

I made this over 5 years ago and got rave reviews... after getting so many requests to repeat this I served it again... you guessed it, rave reviews! Both times I have served this I got numerous requests for the recipe. Subtracted one star because I had to cover it to prevent burning, which is not in the recipe, then cook uncovered for a while, so I got confused as to how long to cook. Luckily the ham I bought was fully cooked so I wasn't too worried. Also, I added a 1/2 inch of water to the bottom of the pan, but I'm guessing you don't have to if your pan is appropriately sized for your ham, mine was a little big.

Oh My Goodness; The glazed is very tasty. I made the ham a day before Christmas and I had to have a slice. The aroma and taste is amazing.

I'm not usually a huge fan of ham, but I LOVED this fast and easy glaze - so did everyone in my family! The glaze is also delicious on pork chops!

my mother is allergic to oranges, so I used apricot preserves, and it was tasty!
