The glaze was horrible. It had a cloying sweetness and an overwhelming taste of bourbon.

This was the first holiday where I was in charge and this recipe made it so easy. The meat was so tender and the taste was amazing. The whole family raved about it! Thanks!

The ham was a bit dry, but that may have been my fault. The glaze was awful. I'll avoid that at all costs from now on.

This glaze was just terrible. It totally ruined my ham.

Really wasn't that great. It was very sweet but that's all. I'm going to keep looking for another recipe.

I made the mistake of serving this over Christmas. With Easter just around the corner, I don't want others to make the same blunder. This glaze is terribly sweet and bitter at the same time. It burns at the temperature given in the recipe, which makes it taste even more black and bitter. My family has told me that under no circumstances am I to use this recipe again.

Way too much sweet. We ate it last Sunday but we had a lot of leftovers. Usually my kids like sandwiches with the leftovers but not with this one. I'm going to try Alton Brown's recipe next. It looks like it has a lot more balance to it.

Too much sweet stuff going on. There was no balance. Just too sweet.
