I made it with leftover raspberry sauce I made as cake filling since I didn't have fresh raspberries. It was wonderful in a spring mix with candied walnuts!

This is the best dressing that I have ever eaten. Bottled Italian dressing is so my favorite dressing. I left out the raspberries because I didn't have any, and used Miracle Whip instead of the plain yogurt (yuck. What an easy and delicious Italian dressing!!!

Irene Ryan ("Granny" on the Beverly Hillbillies enjoyed a version of this salad in Hollywood. Very classy.

I used fresh raspberries instead of frozen, the dressing could have used a bit of sugar to bring out the raspberry flavor. The melon saved this salad from going in the trash. Once the fruit was gone the greens just didn't taste right alone.
