Ingredients
  • 1 pound chicken tenders, cut into small strips
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce plus 2 tablespoons
  • 1 (13.8-ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup red onions, sliced (1 small red onion)
  • 1 cup celery, diced (2 stalks)
  • Grill the chicken strips about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
Directions

Set up grill for direct cooking over medium heat, and oil grill grate when ready to start cooking.

Place chicken strips in large bowl with 1 cup buffalo wing sauce and toss to coat chicken.

While chicken is grilling carefully remove pizza dough from can. Unroll dough onto a flat surface. Spray both sides of the dough with nonstick cooking spray. Place the dough on the grill and let cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Carefully watch the crust, it can burn quickly.

Spread the blue cheese dressing over pizza leaving a 1-inch border. Next, top with mozzarella cheese, red onion, celery, and chicken strips, and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of buffalo wing sauce.

Cover with grill lid and cook 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot.

Indoors: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly spray baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside. Carefully unroll dough and place on prepared baking sheet. Press out dough with clean hands to form 13 by 9-inch rectangle. Place baking sheet in preheated oven. Bake for 7 minutes or until crust just begins to brown. Remove crust from oven and top as directed. Return to oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.

A keeper! My kids have already asked me when will I make this again???
I used Ranch Dressing instead. Used 2.5lb chicken, and 1lb of cheese. Fed 6 men during Super Bowl. Also, I put half cheese on crust before any topping, then placed all remaining on top to 'cover and hold' the toppings. Then, for color, I drizzled the top with the wing sauce. After the whole thing came out of oven, for fun and color, I put carrot shavings on top for color only. Really fun to make, great taste. It disappeared fast.
Scrumptious!!! We used Paula Deens Buffalo sauce and it was spicy!!! Next time we are trying Franks. We are working our way through all the differnt chefs pizza recipes. We made our own dough and used store bought. It really does not make a differnece. The celery was good. Wouldn't change a thing with this recipe.
awesome, the best pizza, friends love it. Added Blue cheese crumbles to the mozzarella topping, the celery is a winner. Franks hot sauce a must.
The only thing I would change is to use Rooties Blue Cheese dressing on it..I live near Buffalo and that is what we use for Blue Cheese when at home. I know that is a local item and I cant really suggest anything close to it..It is technically a dressing but it is really really thick and strong and so far I have been unable to find a commercial dressing close to it..The celery on it is a nice idea and tastes fine but I guess I am not used to eating it with chicken in the same bite...:-)...too traditionalist for that I think...just kidding..PS> if you want authentic Buffalo always buy Franks Hot Sauce for anything Buffalo..this what what everyone uses here..home and restaurant. Others would work but for authentic go with Franks.
The best pizza I have ever had....and I made it at home! Although, I made my own pizza crust and skipped the celery, I think this recipe is truly exceptional. Very easy to make as well!
Delicious recipe! The celery was a unique twist, and the blue cheese base provided a great fundamental flavor. I hope the experience of this recipe is great for everyone!
Fast, easy, delicious! A great weeknight quick meal. Thanks Sandra Lee!
This pizza was delicious and very easy to make!
this pizza was awesome. I love raw celery but was a little worried about the celery being cooked bu it was still crisp after cooking. was quick and great. will definitely make this again.
Loved it, and so did my husband. He didn't like the celery, but I was surprised at how well it worked, and will keep it on there (at least half!). I only changed two minor things, and would change two more next time. One, let the chicken soak in the sauce for about an hour. Two, I grilled the onions right after the chicken. (Tip: our George Foreman worked GREAT for this!) Next time, I will cut the chicken into bite-size pieces (as per my husband's request), and I would like to find something other than crescent-roll tasting dough. Other than that, it was great!
So So Soooo Good! And very simple to make. I made it 3 days in advance just to test it out and it was just as tasty as it looked. I then made 4 for that weekend for my boyfriends return home from training. Family and Friends devoured it all!!! Didn't even miss the buffalo wings, haha, and my family loves their wings.
This is to die for!! I let the chicken marinade in Frank's for about an hour and than BBQ it. Did the rest of the recipe in the oven. We wish we had made two!!

    So, so good!
this is a really easy recipe and tastes wonderful will make it again sunday for SUPERBOWL. go saints
wow this pizza was really yummy and creamy! not to mention a very beautiful presentation! followed the recipe completely however instead of blue cheese dressing i used Ken's steakhouse Ranch. so good you gotta try it! thanks Sandra!
I made this recipe because my son and I both enjoy hot wings. Z and I brought out the pizza to our guests and they were amazed with the flavour. Some had never had a buffalo chickenpizza before but want us to make it before the next Vikes football game.
My sister-in-law made this a while ago for a family gathering, and all I can say is you MUST try it! I think it would be safe to say this is about the yummiest pizza I have ever tasted! You can't lose with this recipe- and be sure to try it with HOT wing sauce (we used budwieser wing sauce and it was incredible)!
I JUST FOUND THIS RECIPE. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR IT FOREVER. OUR FAVORITE PIZZA PARLOR IN MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. MAKES THIS "FLAVOR" AND BY LOOKING AT THE INGREDIENTS ITS THE SAME. I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY IT THIS WEEKEND WITH MY FAMILY. I JUST HOPE I CAN FIND THE WING SAUCE THAT TASTES AS CLOSE TO THEIRS AS POSSIBLE. JILL K.
I had the guys make this on the grill and they loved it so much we went back to the store and make another the next day! I too left off the onions BUT we added toasted cashews. I know it sounds strange but it was soooo good.

I went to Zaxby's and got 8 buffaloe chicken tenders. It came with celery and dressing-blue cheese or ranch. I chopped the chicken and the celery in bite size pieces and put them on the pizza with mozerella cheese and sprinkled it with lemon pepper seasoning. That made the pizza. I left out the onions and cooked it in the oven. This made two pizzas. Everyone so far loves this pizza! I will always take this to parties.
This pizza is not only easy to make, but its fun too! What I love about this pizza is that you can customize it however you want. It came out so good, everyone loved it so we made two of them!!! Awesome recipe!!
Sandra Lee out did herself on this recipe! When a friend of mine and I were watching the show we saw the celery as an ingredient and curled our noses at the very thought. Well, I told hubby we were going to have it for dinner that night he, too, curled his nose at the thought of the celery. I made it just as Sandra did and it was awesome, celery and all! I loved it, Hubby loved it. It's even great leftover. It's a hit in our house.
my roommate and i made the pizza after watching the show and it came out awesome! we varied it a little bit because we don't care for bluecheese. so we used light ranch dressing as the sauce and we just grilled the chicken on the george foreman without any marinade ... everything came out great though. our friends loved it too and want us to make it again.
