This was very tasty but I agree it would be better as a dip, we ended up eating ours with tortilla chips. Makes great nachos! I will make this again as an appetizer, not a meal. My husband loved its creamy and thick texture though. depends on your definition of soup I guess.

It wasn't like a soup at all, it was more like a dip. The spoons stood straight up in it! Two mouthfuls and the kids were done with it. What a waste.

Terribly salty and the consistency was like lumpy spackle, without the delicate flavor. Complete loser of a recipe.

I couldnt believe how easy and delicious this recipe was. Even my picky 16 year old will make it for herself. The only things I changed were adding onion in the beginning and using ground turkey instead of beef. The changes were easy to incorporate into this recipe and worked well.

My family loved the soup and asked for it to be on the menu again soon. Very easy to make.

I'm glad I didn't read all the negative reviews before preparing this delicious recipe. Sandra Lee really made Halloween fun with all of her wonderful ideas! This soup was thick and had a good flavor, however I would say this would make a good dip. Or perhaps you could add a whole can of water, rather than a half as the recipe states and then it would be more soupy. Everyone liked it at the Halloween Boo-ffet.

My family loved ot but a short time later, the four of us were knocking urgently at the john door. Really harsh reaction and now I have to clean up. I'd make it again, but for close family only! I'd hate to do this with strangers! Whew the aroma...
