We served this at several holiday parties this year and couldn't keep up with the demand, going through several bottles of champagne, I bought a case of pomegranates at Costco and deseeded them in preparation for the party. It made a pretty presentation being a red color and was one half juice so nondrinkers enjoyed it as well. It would be great for Valentine parties or a girls' night cocktail as well. Love it!

I used this recipe for my pre-dinner beverage at my Christmas Eve meal. It was very pretty and festive to the eye, but just was not very flavorful. I selected an Italian champagne that the sommmelier recommended as a good companion for the juices. . .oh well!

This is not where you would" waiste a good bottle of champagne" but you take a decent bottle and jazz it up. It was yummy. Works well for brunch along with mimosas for a nice festive buffet
