    fresh lollipops! When I buy them in the store or at the fair, I always wonder how long they have been sitting around. These taste so much better : Great fun to make too!

    This is a wonderful project for a lazy rainy weekend afternoon. My kids and I had fun making these, and I felt better about them eating them than I would a lollipop full of preservatives.

    When my daughter had a sleepover the other night, I searched this site for quick and simple candy recipes. I picked this one. I went out and got the supplies. Unfortuanatley, I found out to late that girls and "sticky" don't work well together. This recipe I found pointless afterwards because I could have simply just went out and bought some cherry lollipops and saved money on supplies AND spared myself an hour of cleanup time. I advise parents who have children not to use this recipe.

    For thoes of you who enjoy cooking and lIke to try new things, this is great I had so much fun making them with my CHILDREN, and the stuff is on hand all the time makes a great thing to do with the kids in the rain and they taste good too.
