I have made this quite a few times and everyone wants the recipe. To me the longer it sits in the refrigerator the better it gets.

just made the salad to make the baked falfala later. The salad on its own has no taste. the chick peas are delicious buy its self- have not eatting them in a long time. would rather just eat them.

when I make this salad, I use italian salad dressing in place of the olive oil.
it adds a lot more flavor, esp if its chilled a few hours.

So I made this and like some of the other reviewers, found that it was very bland. I guess it was just a newbie mistake because now I realize it has to marinate for a while first duhhhh. It doesnt say so in the recipe but it makes a huge difference. After I made it, I figured I would try to use it for the R2 recipe Sandra Lee has up for falafels that looks banging, when I took out the salad the next day the flavors had really blossomed and the salad was delish. the taste of raw red onion is still a little much for me so maybe I will add less or omit it completely next time, but I will definitely make this again! healthy tasty refreshing and doesnt use anything processed~ love it! thanks again Sandra! twitter-wholewheathoney

I just tried this for the first time, and though I am not generally a chick pea fan, I found this salad refreshing as well as satisfying. I didn't measure the ingredients; I seldom do unless I'm baking, so I am sure I added a bit of extra green pepper, carrots, and parsley. I also used 1/2 lemon juice and 1/2 lime juice which really makes the flavors POP on this excellent skinny girl salad! Thanks so much Sandra!

This recipe was quite disappointing. I made it to take to a dinner party but was didn't bring it to the gathering because it had no flavor. I won't be making this again.

I was sort of disappointed. It didn't seem to have much flavor.

    Had a ton left over.
