This was good, but only after I changed the recipe a bit. There are only three in my family (two adults and a three year old, so the suggestion that it fed eight scared me that I would have a ton of leftovers. the things I changed were that I halved the veggies, the biscuits (dumplings and the broth. I also used regular broth, not the reduced sodium. We only turned out to have enough left over for one meal. There wasn't too much chicken and it maybe could have used some more dumplings. I think if i had used the full suggestion of the broth, it would have been terribly watery!

I have never been a big fan of traditional chicken and dumplings, but my husband loves them. This recipe looked like something I might like, so I tried it and was very pleasantly surprised! My husband said these were the best chicken and dumplings he had ever had!

It's the second time I've made this recipe, and I love it. No, it's not "REAL" chicken and dumplings, but it is very simple and quick to make, and it tastes good!! Try it, switch ingredients if you'd like, but don't complain that it's not "real". For those of us with little/no time, this is a good meal to make.
*I used herbes de provence instead of the poultry seasoning... it tasted great!

This is a simple and delicious recipe that is very satisfying. It has an all-day cooked taste to it, but literally takes minutes. I highly recommend it!

This is definitely delicious on a cold, rainy day. Using the pre-chopped veggies and tube of biscuits really cuts the time in half. The flour left on the dough after rolling helps to thicken the broth nicely. Thank you Sandra Lee for a tasty new recipe for my family!

This turned out so good. My husband loves chicken and dumplings and every other recipe I tried he has hated. This one he finished the left overs before anyone else could have some. The kids loved it too. I like my dumplings a little less doughy so I cooked them in the oven just enough to get a slight rise out of them, then added it to the pot.
I highly recommend this.
