I have made this recipe and it's pretty good and I'll be making it tonite for dinner. I thought using bisciut dough was a clever and quick easy way to make the dumblings; no messing with flour shortening etc. After a long day at work, I'll take all the short cuts I can to put a good meal on the table. Sandra's Chicken Pot Pie recipe is a winner too. I've made it several times and love it.

If you don't like her recipes or show, don't watch! No one is forcing you...And coming here to bash her is RUDE RUDE RUDE.

Another disgusting recipe from the cheat queen. She is truly disgusting and her recipes are an abomination to food.

I made this according to the original recipe except instead of store bought broth I rook the remains of the chicken and boiled it to make my own stock. It turned out great my whole family loved it.

This was a great meal...I used the slow cooker...added more gravy and used cornstarch for thickening...turned the cooker on high...dropped the biscuits in soup ...cooked them for about 30 min. or so...my husband went crazy over this meal...I cook receipes from all the shows...Sandra's cooking may not be for everyone but thats whats so great about the Food Network...something for us all...so for the people that are complaining about her show...should know better and not watch...no need to belittle opinions of other reviewers...it's just a receipe...

Do not listen to the positive reviews. I did and boy am I sorry. This was more expensive than the chicken and dumplings I usually make and my family ended up throwing the entire thing in the trash. What a waste. I assume the reason for the positive reviews is that the reviewers have either do not like real chicken and dumplings (in which case this may be good ...it bears little resemblance to the real thing, have never had chicken and dumplings (so don't know what they are missing, or want their dinner to have a packaged taste.

Who knew that you could whip up something SOOOO delicious by just putting pre-made biscuits with pre-made chicken and pre-chopped vegetables and pouring pre-made gravy on top! OMG Sandra, you're a GENIUS! I've served this russipe to my husband and kids and our dog, Scratchy, and he just LOVES it! He's always wagging his tail when I watch TV, because he knows that he's going to get something SUPER DEE-LICIOUS when mommy and daddy are done! I wish more people would stop all that chopping, and stirring, and cooking, and just throw things together like Sandra. I mean, how super-simple can you be? I LOVE SANDRA!!

I have never like Chicken & Dumplings... until now!
I would agree that it is more soup like - so cut back on the chicken broth and/or add cornstarch - I did both. I couldn't find condensed chicken gravy - so i used 2 cans regular chicken gravy. This was very tasty and so easy to make - especially for someone who works all day and still wants a "homecooked" meal! Excellent!!!

This recipe is really quick and simple. I bought a rotisserie chicken but had no plans for it. There is not a huge ingredient list and luckily I had it all on hand. Sandra always comes up with fast easy recipes for working families that don't have time for gourmet. Negative reviewers should realize Sandra's target audience. Busy moms need to throw together quick meals that will please the whole family. She may not be for everyone, but neither is Giada or Ina. This recipe is GREAT!!

My husband and I took this recipe and added a twist of our own. We thought the dumplings were good but got a little mushy for left overs. So we turned this into a soup.We added egg noodles after the carrots where somewhat tender and cooked untill noodles were done and then added the gravey. This is the best and the easiest chicken soup recipe ever. I have had more complements and has turned out to be one of our favorites-Ter in Minnesota......
