I have to admit I used this recipe theoretically and prepared my own version of it (I credit Food Network for giving me theory and confidence to put together my own creations. I used 2 cups of cooked chicken, 1 cup of frozen mixed veggies, 1 large russet potato (microwaved 5 min and chopped to match the size of veggies, 3 strips of Oscar Meyer ready-to-serve bacon chopped, 1 can each of cream of chicken and cream of celery soup. I added poultry seasoning, thyme, and fresh ground pepper. I heated everything covered for about 45 minutes (using the baking sheet as I believe it diffused the heat and prevented scorching, added the biscuits and cooked for another 13-15. My husband LOVED it, it had lots of flavor, and we have leftovers for tonight. I would have never tried anything like this, thanks Sandra Lee!!

This is really a good recipe, I think. But different directions are needed. I cooked my chicken and vegetables first, then added the soups. The only cooking that was needed was for the biscuits on top. It was simply delicious and I will definitely use it again and again. Oh, I did forget the potatoes, but they are not really needed.

very good. I did find that there was not enough juices to share with all the goodies. maybe by added another can of cream of chicken and can of water and add water or star to thicken. Just a thought, but I will try this next time I bake it.
But great... fast.. and I added ham instead of turkey

I had been making the same Chicken Pot Pie recipe for years. This one is my families new favorite. I made a change. Instead of adding turkey, I used all chicken and made it even easier for myself, bought a whole rotisserie chicken from the deli at the grocery store. I skinned and torn the chicken into pieces. The leftovers are just as tasty. YEAH SANDRA ON THIS ONE!!!

I changed so much in this recipe I will try to get it all down. I used 1 pound of chicken only, combined 1/2 of her veggie suggestion with 1/2 of an asian blend, gave a little crunch to final product. Omitted potatoes and Grill Mates. Used 1 can of Cream of Broccoli and Cream of Chicken. Added some dried thyme, garlic powder and black pepper. After final final stirring I topped it with some shredded cheese. I also topped the bisquits with some pamsean cheese. Cooked it at 400 F.

I made a few changes to this recipe. I used crossants not buscuits. It made the top more buttery. And I did not used onions. It came out great.

I thought this was very good...however I would cook my potatos before hand when I make it again. For some reason my potatos were not done after 2 hours of cooking.
Other than that it was very tasty.

Recipe looked much better than it actually was. I was very disappointed. It was "ok" however I don't think I would ever make it again.
