The recipie online calls for 1.5 hrs cooking time but on the show, Sandra says 2.5 hours cooking time. I cooked it for 2 hours and it came out perfect - especially the potatoes. We ate this as leftovers as well and it really reheats nicely - just reheat the biscuits in the oven and the casserole in the microwave.

This recipe came out perfect for me. Knowing that 1-1/2 hours seemed to long, I cut it back to 1 hour added the biscuits and then cooked it the additional 18 minutes. Baked it in a greased 9x13" baking dish. The potatoes were perfect and the biscuits were not mushy.

My husband loved this meal. He ate almost three plates of it. I thought that it was good and pretty easy. I would only suggest maybe adding a little more seasoning and you could also used cream of chicken with other soups like cream of celery for a little kick. But it really is good just the way it is.

Cooked into a tasteless mush like wet oatmeal. Horrible rendition of comfort food.

I used turkey from Thanksgiving and the pot pie was delicous. It's so easy and the leftovers are such a treat.

Christmas dinner will be another turkey and another pot pie!

    Thanks Sandra!

I made my pie with chicken since I did not have turkey on hand I omitted it. I took the advise of the other cooks here. I cut the cream of chicken to only one can. I also added some of my own seasoning like the chicken boullion powder and some garlic powder, and I only cooked it long enough to cook the potatoes about 45 min. I then baked for another 12-15 min. with biscuits atop. Everyone enjoyed it as well as I did.
