This recipe was good, however there were some problems with it. The first problem I noticed is that here, on the website, she says to cook it for 2 hours. I have her semi-homemade slow cooker recipe book, where this recipe is also listed, and it says to cook it for an hour. An hour is DEFINITELY not long enough. I'm changing it in my cookbook to the 2 hours she has here. That would have probably solved all the other issues I had with this dish - namely that it took longer than stated to cook the chicken - yes, I used chicken instead of turkey - the potatoes and carrots were not completely done, and the biscuit bottoms were raw.

It did, however, have great flavor!

I liked how easy this was to make and it tasted pretty good compared to the ease of the recipe but we had to eat it w/ a bowl. It didn't come out creamy for me, there was a lot of liquid. Maybe I didn't let the vegetables fully defrost, I don't know.

This was the best recipe! I didn't have any packaged chicken or cream of chicken soup, so I just roasted a chicken, boned it, and made my own chicken broth, which I seasoned and cooked down until it was fairly thick. I added some heavy cream, salt and pepper and wallah! I had my very own cream of chicken soup! Then, I chopped up some carrots, onions, potatoes, and mixed them up just like Sandra said, with my chicken and soup. I left out the turkey. I didnt have any seasoning packets,so I added some sage, thyme, salt, and pepper, and put it into a dish, and baked it for about an hour and a half. Then, as I didn't have any biscuits in a can, I made my own, with self rising flour and heavy cream..put them on top, and cooked it, and it was amazing ! This recipe was super simple and had great flavor, which was plainly visible!

Delish! Prep was so easy. I thought the biscuit thing was a little weird but it turned out perfect and yummy! I also replaced some of the mixed veggies with asparagus. Wonderful winter comfort dish.

I left out the potatoes, but added about 2 T. cooked rice, only one can of cream soup, one cup of cooked chicken, half a cup of sour cream and some salt pepper and essence.baked for 45 min., then added pepper biscuits for another 15 minutes. It was delicious, but should have cut the biscuits in half or made more filling. (Could have used the rest of the biscuts for strawberry shortcake! Reheating the next day was pretty much "biscuity". A REALLY easy recipe! Will try next time with no bisuits, just top with cracker crumbs and pepper!

Yummy! This was so great! I used only turkey since we had a lot of turkey leftover from the weekend. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. SO tasty and simple to make! I was a little concerned about the potatoes not being done after reading others' reviews. I made sure to make them small cubes and they were very tender. I will be passing this recipe on to others. Thanks!

Hmm... A lot of these reviews are leaving me confused. I've made this recipe plenty of times, but I didn't watch it on her show. I actually saw it in her cookbook. I use frozen veggies, and I've never defrosted them. & I use chicken breasts, I chop them up while they are uncooked and I put them into the rest of the ingredients. They cook in the oven, anyways. Anywho, I love this recipe!

Used only chicken, didn't put in the potatoes, but it was still very good. Will make again, but will use about half the about of chicken seasoning, was just a little over-powering.
