I made this and found that the bottom of the biscuits were raw...icky!!!!...tried it again and made my own bisquick biscuits and it was great. The others are easier though...did anybody else have this problem?

This recipe is so simple to make, so delicious and easily adaptable to what you have on hand. I've made it with cream of chicken and celery, added wine and mustard in different variations and exchanged biscuits, crescents and pie crust for the toppings. Great, quick, pantry recipe. Thanks Sandra!!!

Making this was a breeze! My husband loved it! We used Grands Homestyle biscuits which made the perfect topping! The only thing I altered was the meat. I just used chicken breast, no turkey. I lightly flavored and cooked it first, then shredded it. This dish will without a doubt be served at least every week or two!

My niece and i made this recipe using just turkey left over from Christmas. It was the first recipe I have tried of Sandra Lee and everyone was totally blown away with how wonderful it tasted. It was simple to make---- I am definitely a fan of Sandra Lee and will certainly be using more of her recipes!!!!

I read almost all of the comments before I made this one. I originally was going to half the recipe but ended up having friends over so I made the full recipe. I used 1 pound deli chicken (all I bought, the full 16 oz bag of veggie mix, 1 cup chopped fresh onion, about a cup of par boiled potatoes (this is the key, otherwise you have to cook much longer cut small, 2 cans 98% fat free cream of chicken soup, 1/4 cup sour cream, 1 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning and a pinch of thyme. I baked it for about 1.5 hours and it was bubbling but everything in the pan was still in tact (was worried about the mealiness like everyone else mentioned. Added on the biscuits and baked another 20 minutes and everything came out perfectly!! The only thing I would change for next time is to use leftover or rotisserie chicken. Not a big fan of the texture of cubed deli meat. Still tasted great and my husband and guests all were pleased.

I made this for our New Years Day dinner and it was a hit. I loved making it because it was a simple recipe. I did leave the turkey out (not a big fan.It seemed like it was browning too fast so I reduced the amount of time it was in the oven by 45 min- 1 hour. I also used a 13x9 casserole dish. Thanks so much for this recipe. I will be using it again!

I noticed a few people made comments about the cooking time. I watched this particular episode and when she made it on the show, she cooked the filling for 2 1/2 hours (ish. Also, make sure the frozen mixed veggies are thawed, as she also stated on the show. Delicious!
