I tried this last night, and after reading some of the reviews on here, I was quite nervous. However, I'm glad I read them first because I took some of the helpful hints and applied them. I used only chicken (4 boiled boneless, skinless bagged chicken breasts, 1 medium potato, only 1 3/4 cans of cream of chicken, only 3/4 bag of veggies (peas and carrots only, 1/2 fresh cut onion...everything else I followed the recipe. I baked it for approx. 1 hr 15 min before adding the biscuits. Then I baked it for another 15 min. It came out almost perfect! The only problem was that the biscuits in the middle row were not done on the bottom. My husband normally will not eat pot pie, but he actually liked this recipe! I think one reason everything came out so nicely is that my veggies were completely thawed when I added them.

I have made this a few times and it has become my go to chicken pot pie recipe. Always turns out awesome. I have always used just chicken as I never have turkey breast just lying around. All my daughters have requested this recipe for their families.

This recipe is simple to make. I like that I can get it mixed up and just put it in the oven and then I can go about my other business and just know that my family is going to have a filling and nutricious dinner. And having the Grands Biscuits on top-they are a huge selling point to my boys.

I read the reviews and watched the show. I actually followed the reciped carefully except I added extra grill seasoning and used fresh onion (store didn't have frozen. I thoroughly thawed the vegetables so there was no extra water. I cut everything "bite-sized" which is probably closer to 1 inch cubes. Potatoes were done. We had 3 children guests for dinner and they loved it. It went over well with all the adults too. I'll make it again sometime this winter.

I love this recipe...I get tired of the "same old, BORING" poultry meals...and this is a new favorite, year round, but especially in the Autumn. I sometimes use ALL turkey or chicken...whatever is on hand. And...IT'S SO EASY to make!!

This dish turned out fantastic when I made it. I am not sure what happened with these other reviews that say it was mush. I followed the directions exactly and it was delicious. The peppery seasoning in the mix and the pepper on the biscuits made the dish really stand out.

I just made this recipe after taping the show from last week & the entire family asked for the recipe. Thanks Sandra Lee-I love you. Keep the goodies coming. I adore your Tablescapes.

I made this for my husband and I (he is a picky eater. I omitted the onions and potato and used baked chicken breast and low-fat soup. It is a favorite on a cold day.
