this was the easiest pot pie recipe I have ever made! Of course now that I have made it so much I have put my own spin on it(like making pastry dough and putting it on top instead of biscuits but the base of the recipe is amazingly easy and cheaper than buying frozen ones for the whole family. Kudos!

The basic recipe is excellent but with some changes. Wwe only used cooked chicken or turkey and it works better. We also preboil some cubed white potatoes and add then rather then using red ones. Our family LOVES the result!

I eliminated the shortcuts and added my own fresh veggies such as celery, carrots mushroom, onion, frozen corn and potatoes and of course with everything I cook garlic and jalapeno. The fresh vegetables cook wonderfully along with the potatoes. I much prefer this method to the frozen bagged veggies.

I used 98% fat free Cream of Chicken and it turned out great! I only cooked it for about an hour and then added the biscuits for another 20 minutes. I also added some more frozen veggies to pump it up. I think you just need to cook it until the potatoes are done and then eat. It turned out great that way. My husband loved it!

This recipe tastes just like those frozen pot pies (except for the biscuit topping. Also, I used a rotisserie turkey breast instead of the chicken/turkey mix. I will make this recipe again!

I thought that this was just alright. A bit boring. I think some chopped celery would be quite good.

I had leftover chicken and turkey and was looking for something to do with it. This was the answer. It's easy and satisfied the whole family. I would probably precook the rolls a bit, the bottom didn't cook and I cooked longer than 18 minutes.
