    This was great. Easy and fast. Gave cube steak a new and tasty twist. The buttermilk did give the gravy a sour taste and that's what made it different from regular pan gravy. My family loved it all. I love the ideas Sandra comes up with and I am a professional cook.

    When I cook this for my family they go nuts!! They can't get enough! It takes the work out of trying to figure out how much of what spice to use and it's the best chicken fried steak i've ever had!

    I really like this dish and since the first time I made it I made it again. The only thing is that the amount on each side is to little and mine was still bloody. So I extend the time by a few minutes. And it was delish.

    The flavor of this dish was wonderful because of the use of buttermilk & ranch seasoning. However, my grocer's preparation of the "minute steaks" made it difficult to coat them properly as they were beginning to fall apart.

    This is a great and recipe! I made the gravy with reg milk instead of the buttermilk because of previous reviews. Next time I'll try it though. Everything turned out flavorful and delicious!!!

    Being from Texas, I was skeptical, but it looked so good on tv and the reviews were also favorable. So I made it the other night for me and my husband and we both thought it was excellent. Such great flavor and a great crust! I did not make the gravy and it was still flavorful and moist. I'd definitely make this again. Thanks Sandra for all of your imaginative ideas! Love your show!
