A good gravy will cover up a poorly seasoned steak (like this one but this gravy was especially bad. I can't review the mashed potatoes since she didn't bother to provide a recipe for them.

My kids and their dads didn't like the steak one bit. Maybe I bought a different salad dressing from everyone else but who really wants green flecks in their steak batter?? The gravy was especially bad. Salty and tasted like the wrapper it came it.

My husband is a picky eater and we eat Burger King 9 or 10 times a week. I have just started cooking at home and I made this last week. My husband actually ate it! He dipped it in ranch dressing mixed with tobasco sauce. He said it tasted better than chicken fries. That works for me!

I love chicken fried steak, what a shame. It was awful. Looked nasty and tasted nasty. Throw the dinner out and the recipe.

I am sure that I botched this one. The taste was great but I should have spent more time tenderizing the meat. Also I am having a time with binding the coating to the meat. I am not sure I am getting the oil hot enough. I usually put Sandra at the top but I just could not get this to be "resturant" quality.
