This marinade has awesome flavor! I didn't have fresh ginger in the house and used a 1/4 t of grated ginger and it was still fantastic!

I have made this three times and it was always wonderful. The second and third time I used skinless thighs (to cut back on the calories and I was afraid it would not be as tasty...my family liked it even better!!! I never seem to have a piece left to make the wonton recipe. This will be on my summer BBQ list for sure. Thanks again Sandra for a great recipe.

This recipe, the marinade and chicken, was prepared in three minutes before work. When I came home, all there was to do was cook the rice and grill the chicken in a grill pan. Both the rice and the chicken are mouth-watering and will be one of my faves. I would like to try it with pork chops and beef cubes. The smell and taste remind me of Korean barbeque.

Our whole family enjoyed this recipe from our 2 year old to 80 year old grandpa.
For a little kick we added 1/2 tsp of red chilli flakes.

She very clearly told us to boil the marinade before we use it as a glaze on the chicken in the episode. In this recipe she says "reduced" marinade...which means boiled. Please don't leave bad reviews unless you've actually made something!
ANYWAY this was delicious and looks great on the platter. The cast iron grill plate is the best $40 we've ever spent because it really makes a difference in the flavor of a lot of recipes!
