That is what my husband replied for a title for the review. Easy and quick to fix ahead. Did prep the night before and put it all together the next morning in the crock pot. Great to come home to.

The title says it all. This recipe was quick and easy and delicious. My family loved it. I served it with rice and will definitely be making this recipe again!

I wanted something tasty for New Years Day and this was the best thing I could have ever made. I served it over steamed rice, it had so much flavor and my family really enjoyed it. I wasn't able to find the five-spice powder so I used Asian Seasoning and added a touch of ground cinnamon and ground cloves to it. Enjoy!

The meat was very tender but the 5 spice seasoning was way to overpowering for us. My family would not even eat it, next time I'll ditch the 5 spice and use something else.

I used half of recommended 5 spice and it was still overpowering. Will do again but no 5 spice.

This recipes is fantastic on a cold winter day to keep you warm and toasty! I read some of the review and only used 1 tsp of the chinese 5 spice. The meat was extremely tender and everyone loved it!! I did add flour to thicken the soup to use for gravy. Overall, it turned our great and will be a staple in our family!

This was an outstanding meal. Prior to preparing this meal, I read comments by other viewers and made modifications to the recipe. I couldn't find 5 spice powder so I added some herbs from my pantry. Also, I added hoisin sauce for additional flavor (about 1/4 cup and some root vegetables to soak in the delicious liquids from the beef. It was so good; my husband claims this is the best meal I prepared. I will definitely make this again!

This was an easy recipe to make. Everyone loved it. The meat was tender and very tasty. I would have liked the juice to be a little thicker, but otherwise it was wonderful. Will make it again. Like the Chinese 5 spice in it. Used it before and always am looking for recipes that use it. Thanks
