These cookies were almost inedible, even though I substituted coffee for the almond extract to take away from the frosting and cookie crumb flavor. No-bake is a bad idea. We threw away the whole pan.

I had a hard time believing these would taste like anything other than gritty frosting, and that they wouldn't melt after a short while out of the fridge. Well, first batch turned out exactly that way! However, second time around, I took special care in making sure the graham crackers were crushed VERY, VERY fine in my food processer, and the almonds as well. I also added a tsp of vanilla flavoring and substituted 1/2 cup of the graham crackers with flour, WHAT A TREAT! Everyone loved them! Cudos to another QUICK, SIMPLE way to ENJOY cooking/eating! Thanks Sandra!

We weren't sure about this one because some reviews were good and some were not. But my daughter insisted so we did. They were good. However, I could see using something to "jazz" them up a bit. Maybe using some kirsch or cinnamon graham crackers, etc. At any rate, give them a try. You might be pleasantly surprised.

I'm not sure how this recipe is easier than just making the real thing...you know, cooking it out of real dough. The real thing tastes better too.

Yum! We loved these. They disappear everytime I make them.

They look adorable. They taste disgusting. Years ago I used to eat the frosting straight out of the can, but the addition of the butter made this simultaneously taste incredibly greasy along with being too sweet. I gave them to some kids and they pulled the kiss candy right out of it and ate the kiss candy then ran around smushing the rest of the "cookie" up like it was chocolate Play Doh.
