We cooked it for extra tme and the pie never set. I agree - it was a waste of money because the next morning it went right into the trash.

I made this recipe last night, after reading all the reviews. I cut the sugar to 1 cup vs 1.5. I cooked it for 60 minutes before putting on the marshmallows. The Pie came out great! Based on the sugar comments, I also served a little smaller pieces, because it is a rich recipe. Everyone loved it and there was none left....

I wish I had read the previous comments before trying this recipe. As others noted, it required at least 20-25 min additional cooking time. And the wait was not worth it. My husband and I took one bite of the pie and threw the rest away. My husband commented that the dessert was a strange texture and tasted of nothing but sugar. Our pie also collapsed/deflated soon after coming out of the oven, so the presentation was nothing like represented on the show. In all, I would recommend looking for another sweet treat.

I haven't made this recipe yet, so I'm not commenting on the taste. This is the first time I have read any of the reviews for the recipes found on the different shows on Food Network. A lot of reviewers commented on the cooking time. I think the ovens that are used on these cooking shows are convection ovens, which would explain why they require less time to bake, roast, etc. than would be typical in a regular oven. I made a recipe from the Barefoot Contessa program, and the cooking time stated was a LOT less than the cooking time required in my home oven. While it's nice that they have convection ovens, I think they should take the time to mention this and to give the alternate times for regular ovens.

I made this recipe last night...I have to admit like the other person who made the same one ..it did take about 20 min longer to bake....and it was way too much sugar ...My husband didn't rave about it either...So I will probably throw it out and waste that money...Sorry.. I just being honest..

I made this last night. Took much longer than the recipe stated almost 20 minutes. Had no flavor. Tasted like a sugar pie. I'll try this again with some of my adjustments and let you know how it turns out.

I decided to make this because it looked so delicious on the show. It took much longer in the oven than the time stated on the recipe and when it was finally done, it wasn't even worth the effort. None of us enjoyed it. I won't be making this again.
