    This was sooo yummy! I used another person's suggestion and took out the tequila all together and added the lemon flavored rum....unbelievable!

    some of my friends have found that the tequila was a little too much, so I switched up and used lemon flavored rum and it was a big hit as well.

    Like Sandra's beer margarita, I thought this sounded pretty bad, but being a brave soul I tried it anyway. And like the beer margarita, it's really wonderful! Basically beer, but with a more interesting and refreshing taste, perfect for a backyard cookout. FWIW, I used Corona and lime mint from the garden.

    I will probably make this again, although I tweaked the recipe a bit - I put in only 1/2 shot of tequila and added a splash of creme de mint.

    this is nothing more than what use to be called a boiler makerwith a twist of lime a couple of these and out go the lights.
