This is great as a mock-tail too. I used half the ginger b/c of the ginger ale. Over chipped ice, refreshing!

Made this for an evening cocktail party. tried 1/3 or the ginger water, then gradually added more and more, but it was always delicious but too sweet. soda water instead was much better.

The only problem with this recipe is I always have to double the batch! Great on a hot summer's day.

I found the ginger ale to add a bit too much sweetness so I tried it with soda water - much more to my liking. But the ginger is exquisite and elegant!! I'm planning to add ginger-water to other beverage recipes! YUM!!!

I watched the show when she made this drink - she only used a portion, maybe a third or so, of the ginger water, not the entire 2 cups. "Save some for the next pitcher" she said. I bet that's why some people had to throw it out.
We enjoyed it - refreshing.
