    I read the reviews and used fresh crab and even then it was terrible. Tasted like bland cream cheese. Not what I expected at all.

    After looking at these reviews, I decided to make with real crabmeat. Still, the dip was very dull and not many people liked it. Mediocre at best.

    I've never used artificial crab before and will never do so again. That is a horrendous product!!! It even smelled bad. This dip was terrible, but I don't think using real crab would improve it enough to convince me to try it again.

    can be pretty bad. I used the real stuff instead but wasn't impressed with the recipe. Not a keeper.

    I used a lot more hot sauce than the recipe required but even so it was quite bland. I'm not sure what to do to improve it. I'm going to find a different recipe instead.

    I made this twice: the first time with canned crab (vile! and the second with real stuff. You'd think it would be a lot more delicious but it isn't. Somewhat disappointing.

    I was surprised at how bland it was. I used real crab too. There must be a better recipe out there.
