    I am not sure what additions make this a meal?? Huh? We thought the added cream was nice for texture of the soup but it watered down the taste to the point where you could not discern any seafood taste. Won't use this recipe again ...

    He made the recipe with canned soup and canned crab. I just used water and fake krab and it was very good, like he said.

    It just tastes like bad canned soup!! : I used a good brand (more expensive, but good for the base of this bisque and it came out tasting crabby and delish. Very creamy too.

    I've never had a better crab bisque. This tastes like you made it from scratch. It has even more flavor than our scratch recipe though! Amazing.

    I served this as a first course, but it would be a great meal in itself for a cold winter night. No one could believe this was made using a canned bisque when I told them. Very very good!
