This recipe is very easy and delicious. The mushroom soup gives it a different taste than your usual chicken noodle soup. I would make this again.

This recipe is DELICIOUS!! It's PREFECT for a cool autumn evening! I did make it my own by adding some thyme, rubbed sage, and parsley flakes. I also used one can or regular cream of mushroom and one with roasted garlic. I was afraid it would be too strong with garlic if I used two.

I've never made homemade chicken soup, but now I've made semi-homemade!!! I used regular chicken broth (not low-sodium and the mushroom w/ roasted garlic soup. Instead of using pre-cooked chicken, I put three boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crock-pot and, after 8 hours on low, removed them, shredded them, and returned them to the soup. Yummy!!!! For spices, I only used chives and parsley because that's all I had in the house - but I think that helps make the difference between this high-quality soup and the canned stuff.

This was a nice soup that was so quick and easy to make. You can wait and put the cooked chicken in towards the end to help keep it moist. My family like it.

Give Sandra a break...this soup was way better than canned. I made some for my dad and he loved it. I will definitely use this recipe again.

Still tasted canned after all that cooking. But the added veggies were a plus. Add them at the end or they'll turn to mush.

I made this the other day for my husband and kids and they loved it. My kids actually ate this. My husbands friend came over for dinner and he had two bowls full. My husband ate the rest for lunch the next day. Very good comfort food.

I open a can of good quality soup and heat it up. It's ready in minutes and tastes even better than this recipe! Remember to use a good quality soup though, one that has meat and vegetable pieces in it. Campbell's won't work.

my family loved this. It was so easy to make. We like full flavor things, so I used regular chicken broth instead of low sodium. This was a perfect trade for us. Any less salt and this would have been too bland. Make sure to use the mushroom soup with roasted garlic. plain mushroom soup is NOT the same. I would do this again on a day that I am stretch for time.
