Made this soup tonight and thought that it was pretty good. I don't like celery so I used corn, peas, and carrots as my veggies. Also added a couple tablespoons of sour cream which added creaminess. I think the next time I make this soup I will substitue cheddar soup for the cream of mushroom.

I do love how easy this recipe was, but it needed a little more. I ended up adding an additional two cans of cream of chicken soup to give it a little more flavor and thicken it up. I think that next time I would make it my adding these two cans plus the two it called for. (i didn't love the flavor of the mushroom and garlic

...and that is why we have a tv remote control and the freedom to choose. Who are you to decide what EVERYONE else wants to see on tv?! Find what you like and avoid those that you don't and leave your lame opinions to yourself.

I found the recipe quite simple and quite good. So you see, there are people who enjoy Sandra Lee. I have 8 of her cook books along with several cook books from Ina Garten, Giada, Paula Deen, Alton Brown, and Rachel Ray. It's called variety, maybe you've heard of it?

    Thanks!

I don't even know why Sandra Lee is on the Food Network. Maybe some people cook like this but I don't think she deserves a show. All I ever see is her store bought cakes, canned and powdered soups, spice packets with MSG and salt, slow cooker and overly-alcoholic drinks. Come on now, is this really what the Food Network is about? I've yet to come across a recipe where I didn't shake my head and think "how ridiculous". Putting something in the slow cooker for 9+ hours is not quick, and making a meal with pre-made ingredients full of sodium and MSG is not something I or any children or anyone for that matter should be eating.

We loved the soup. Could not find the mixture of herbs so I made up my own. Quick and easy on a cold winter's night like we have here in Chicago.

My family enjoyed this soup. Even my husband who doesn't like soup because he is hungry later thought this soup was filling. I thought it was easy to make, and would be good on the cold winter days.

My family are not soup lovers but they love this one. My husband never wants soup for dinner because he says that he wakes up hungry during the night. No complaints with this one! I did use chicken thighs and increased the amount. This is a great soup!

I love this recipe. I've made this a couple of time. I did make a few changes though. I couldn't fine "Fines herbs" in my grocery store , so I added parsley flakes, minus the salt and added salted chives instead. I added poultry seasoning. I only put 1 can of Cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic and I added 1 can of regular can cream of mushroom soup. Next time I'll try Italian seasoning, instead of poultry seasoning. Might try this with cream of chicken soup also. A great recipe to experiment with.
