Well, the other reviews scared me from trying the precooked potatoes, so I went ahead and bought 4 large red potatoes and cooked them myself.

With the fresh potatoes, I found this salad to be delicious! It has a tangy flavor that is unique, and I don't know why some people say it's not salty enough. I think it has plenty of sodium from the capers.

I actually hate olives and celery, so I left both of those out, and instead added a minced clove of garlic. So good!

Next time I think I'll add some crumbled bacon to make it even better. I think as long as the potatoes are fresh, it makes a very good potato salad!

Very enjoyable, all guests liked it! Used my own boiled potatoes - very nice potato salad!

This, also, was a waste of time and foodstuffs. Simply not worth the effort.

This potato salad was great. I was a little nervous before I made it, looking at the reviews, but decided to make it with fresh red potatoes instead of the pre made. Boiled them, diced them up and it was great. My family loved it. Nice tangy taste. Will make again.

First off, after reading the reviews here, I steamed some red potatoes and used them rather than using the precooked ones as it seemed they were pretty unpopular. It was interesting but bland. If I make it again, will definitely add bacon. Also it needs salt!!!!

The main problem was with those precooked potatoes. Theywere pasty and gross. Besides that the potato salad needed salt and some other seasonings becasue it tasted very dull and definitely didn't have much taste. But the main thing was the disgusting texture of the potatoes.

The ingredients just seemed like a mishmash of stuff that doesn't go well together. And I agree that those frozen potatoes were mealy and really bad in potato salad -- they didn't stand up well at all.

The precooked potatoes were mealy and gross. They are not meant to be made into potato salad. Yuck.
